The Tom Wragg Suite Reviews

Amisha
Tom Wragg is a lovely property in a great location for exploring. There is so much space outside and the working farm is lovely to see.
Lovely holiday cottage with plenty of space for 8. Large lounge with great TV, just internet connectionwifi not good in there so spent more time around the kitchen table. All bedding and towels great. Be prepared for visits from the farm dogs but not too much of an issue. Plenty of crockery, dishwasher tablets provided along with some tea bags, coffee, biscuits and unpasteurised milk. Would use the cottages again.
The Tom Wragg Suite was ideally located with beautiful views. The Suite itself was clean, tidy with good facilities. However, the garden for our dogs was not secure and people didn't pick up there dogs mess. We understand it is a working farm but the farm dog appeared outside our back door several times and was quite threatening and the pooh at front and back of the Suite was the farm dog. As I suffer from arthritis in my hands I found the shower in the ensuite was very difficult to turn on. Also the WiFi didn't work in most of the Suite. However, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Thomas Wragg suite. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 children and we all fitted comfortably. The farm provided some added entertainment and the cottage was really well located for accessing Matlock and Bakewell. The owners were really helpful and friendly.
Philip
Had a lovely weekend. However I would strongly suggest a handrail be installed at the back door. The steps are a little steeper than usual and it is very easy to catch your head on the lintel.
Elizabeth
Had an enjoyable Xmas with the family. Disappointed no Xmas decorations were up so made a dash to Bakewell and brought some in . Comfy clean and large enough to cater for 8 . Some odours evident as you went in which you would expect on a working farm , however think this was down to the drains as the smell in the bathroom was quite strong at times . Otherwise had a lovely time thank you x
Great, clean home with wonderful views of the hills and countryside for a trip away with friends. Easy to find. Bedrooms good size. Perfect kitchen to gather round in and house warms up nicely. The animals on the property were lovely. We were at the property with one or two younger people who werent used to having weaker internet but for the rest of us it was nice to disconnect. There is very good signal outside of the house, within the property walls there is wifi but if there are more than 3 people, it will not be strong enough if you plan to work on emails etc from the property. Sykes was also very easy to deal with.

We have just returned from a very relaxing week at the Tom Wragg Suite. It is situated on a hill above Bakewell with a lovely view of the countryside. The place is on a working farm but there was very little disturbance from the farm itself. It was clean and comfortable and ideal for my family including our 3 dogs. The large kitchen was adequately stocked with pots, pans and utensils should you wish to cook we were happy to eat out in the pubs in Bakewell and the surrounding area. It has a large lounge with a large screen tv. The bedrooms were of a good size, 2 doubles 1 with ensuite shower and 2 twins each with comfy beds. The only slight negatives were that we couldnt use the wifi we could log on to next doors from upstairs so wasnt a massive issue and the cistern in the main bathroom was very noisy and as it is next to the 2nd double bedroom it made for an interesting nights sleep. I really like Derbyshire especially the Bakewell area and if you are thinking of visiting with a group of up to eight people, you cant go wrong with Burton Farm Cottages, Tom Wragg Suite. It is a lovely place in a lovely setting in a lovely area. I highly recommend it. Andy
We had problems with the ensuite shower, it was difficult to turn on. The markings around the oven knobs were worn away but we eventually sorted it out. Lack of saucepan lids. There was no information about facilities in the cottage or the surrounding area. It would be a good idea if owners stayed in their properties for at least 24 hours so that they could find out any problems.
The property is excellent. Second time we stayed there. All good, great improvements made. All comfortable. Suggestions If possible, a toilet at the bottom floor where theres an unused closet would be a great addition to the house. Its right under the main bathroom upstairs. Plus a few more electric plugs in the master bedroom and kitchen. Everything else perfect. Plenty of scenery to view and parking spaces available. Absolutely lovely. We intend to be back for a third time.
